The French Connection… Gypsy Swing in London / African Beats in Glasgow

Some exciting news in the world of music comes from the French Music Bureau (www.french-music.org).  A plethora of top-flight French, French-based  and Francophone musicians will be coming to the UK shortly. In honour of the 100th Birthday of the legendary Gypsy guitarist, Django Reinhardt, a new generation of gypsy jazz musicians will be appearing at the Quecumbar in London (www.quecumbar.co.uk) between the 17th and 25th of January 2010 for the International Gypsy Swing Guitar Festival.
