A two CD set from this master of the Indian bamboo flute (bansuri) in Saregama's 'Introducing the Masters' series. CD one 'Innovations' opens with 'Raga Pahadi' from the wonderful 'Call Of The Valley' (1967) while 'Dhun Sindhi Bhairavin' from 'Flute (Ahir Lalit)' features tabla from Zakir Hussain. CD two is 'Traditions' and includes 3 pieces from 'Down Memory Lane' as well as the beautiful 29 minutes of 'Raga Latangi. The title says it all. Graham Radley
