Guitarist and writer Justin Adams joins forces with Gambian griot and master musician, Juldeh Camara for an exhilarating performance that combines blues rock with West Africa’s elemental, ancient string groove. Juldeh Camara offers unparalled skills on the riti, a single stringed fiddle, and his astonishing voice combines power and delicacy alongside Justin Adams’ unique guitar skills.
Their debut album Soul Science won a BBC Award, and follow-up “Tell No Lies” has wowed the music press. In this performance expect to hear the low growl of the guitar played by Justin, who has notably written and performed with Robert Plant, mixed with the enchanting screams of Juldeh’s fiddle.
