‘Quirky’ is about the nearest adjective I can get to this band.
An Indian chanteuse that sings in French, Spanish, English and Hindi over a musical landscape that includes Paris, Buenos Aires, New Orleans and Tijuana; all backed by a San Franciscan band that play double bass, cello, glockenspiel, percussion, trumpet, violin, accordion and bandoneon . . .
Curiously agreeable music! Recommended? Mais Bien Sur!
