Gypsy swing from an all star line up of Dorado Schmitt, Angelo Debarre, James Carter, Samson Schmitt, Serge Camps, Ludovic Beier, Ken Peplowski and Grady Tate recorded in 2002 (apart from the bonus track 'Pretext with Django's son Babik) at Birdland during the annual festival. Kind Of Blue is a new label with some tasty releases lined up for this year (see Hamilton De Holanda also here) with artists and music of this quality it looks good for the future. Graham Radley
