A double CD of African dance music from Guinea, Mali, Guinea-Bissao, Gambia, Ivory Coast, Chad & Senegal. There's nearly 2 ½ hours of wonderful music from a period in Africa of decolonisation and change, the compilers realise for every great track they include many more are in the queue behind but this is a choice collection. I'll pick out a few of the 24 tracks to give you a better idea, so look out for Etoile De Dakar, Miriam Makeba, Amadou Balake, Amazones de Guinea (first all-woman big band) Ambassadeurs International and and Super Eagles.
